Many people do lots of work to generate leads, then neglect to nurture those leads. This is the number 1 reason women entrepreneurs and coaches don’t have enough clients to work with!
When a new lead comes into your sphere they’re “cold”. They don’t know you, they’re not familar with your work and they probably don’t trust that you can help them at that stage. It’s not enough these days to rely on content to convert your leads to clients, you need to be more proactive. But it doesn’t have to be hard.
You need a simple, clear step-by-step process for building rleationships with your leads, nurturing them and “warming them up” so that when you invite them to work with you they’re more likely to say YES. When you do this consistently your conversion rates skyrocket and you’ll never be short of clients to work with.
A mistake I see many entrepreneurs making is that they don’t have this process outlined in enough details that they can easily implement it on a daily basis. They’re having to think too much and reinvent the wheel every time they communicate with a prospect. That will slow you down.
