Recently I had the pleasure of interviewing Tad Hargrave of Marketing for Hippies – marketingforhippies.com
I’m a HUGE fan of Tad’s work because he is an advocate for marketing that feels GOOD (yes it is possible!) and he supports conscious entrepreneurs, green and local businesses & communities with their marketing, which I believe is really important today if we are to save and heal our planet (and people).
In the video we discuss why heart centred entrepreneurs struggle with marketing, why mainstream marketing approaches can feel so ‘gross’ and what to do instead, the suicide economy and alternatives, and how we can do marketing in a way that doesn’t feel ‘yucky’ or sleazy.
There’s a helpful ‘re-frame’ in the way you think about marketing – This is a game changer that can SHIFT your entire concept of marketing… Make this tweak in your approach and you might even find yourself enjoying your marketing!
Plus, what we all need to do to be authentic and honest when marketing, which is beneficial to both our potential clients and our own businesses.
AND we discuss masculine and feminine energy in business, dating (because there are so many parallels to attraction marketing), what Tad is up to now, and more…

I enjoyed the interview because you kept on point and probed for distinctions in the words which are used. I think a lot of marketing is geared to the victim mentality not to the victor. The 3 take-aways were concise and appropriate. It cleared up some of my thinking around copy writing and why I have not been successful – don’t play the scarcity program very well. Thanks.
Hi Reenah. Thanks so much. I’m glad you enjoyed the interview and that it cleared up some thinking about your copywriting. I love getting fresh perspectives from people who are already doing it and trailblazing the way with copy & marketing that works in this modern world of ours where we have information overload and people become very sensitive to ‘selling’ or ‘advertising’ of any kind. That’s also why I believe storytelling for marketing is the way to go… And honesty, integrity and all the things Tad & I discussed in the interview. Thanks for your comment 🙂
