It’s simple and straightforward, but are you doing it?
We’re talking about ASKING or inviting your prospects to work with you – clearly, directly, cleanly.
Typically we don’t do this enough because we’re afraid of seeming “pushy” or salesly. We think that if people want to work with us, they will just reach out. While this does happen occassionally, it’s the exception not the rule. Our jump is to invite and ask our prospects to work with us – to lead them to a point where they feel comfortable to say YES!
This is part of being a wealthy leader.
It’s like your mum used to say “if you don’t ask you don’t get!”
Your leads and prospects need to be invited, over and over again, to work with you. It builds trust, authority and leads to sales.
I heard someone say once that if you ask 100 of the right people (ie people who fit your client avatar) to work with you you’re likely to hear 90 “no’s”. But that means you also got 10 “yes’s”! The trouble is we don’t like hearing no. We make it mean something about us (which it doesn’t) so we don’t ask.
What would happen in your business if you asked 100 hot leads to work with you in a paid container? (If you’re saying you don’t have any hot leads to ask, go back and watch step 2 here).
It would be business changing, because I’ve seen it happen with my clients.
