Recently a client said to me “I’m thinking about jacking in this whole idea”.
She was referring to her online business which she’d launched just 6 weeks prior.
I nearly fell off my chair! She’d worked so hard, and now, just 6 short weeks in, she was thinking of throwing in the towel! That’s crazy.
The thing is I GET it. I’ve been there.

When no clients come despite our best efforts. When we’re putting our best self out there and hear nothing but… crickets!
It’s hard. It SUCKS.
But seriously, giving in after 6 weeks is NOT the way to go.
There are plenty of stories and examples of extraordinary people who achieved extraordinary things in this world – Who didn’t give up at the first hurdles and reaped the rewards. But what about us mere mortals, who feel more ‘ordinary’ than extraordinary? Can we still make it.
The answer is yes. But for most of us, building a business, it won’t be easy.
In fact it will be HARDER than anything else you’ve ever done, I’m willing to bet.
One of the problems my client had is that she was listening to a well intioned loved one, who had absolutely ZERO experience of online business! That’s a problem. That will introduce FEAR and DOUBT into an already intrepid heart…
Our loved ones mean well. They don’t want us to suffer. But you wouldn’t take medical advice from a non specialist, so why would you do it when it comes to your business?
My advice to you, ONLY listen to those who have walked the path you want to walk, and have successfully created an online business themselves. THEY know what they’re talking about.
